ARTIST'S STATEMENT
Midtown resident, Susan Rabinovitz has been creating one of a kind jewelry for over since she was a kid.  Inspired by nature, forged by hand, Susan specializes in wire work, metal-smithing as well as silver-smithing.

Musing and inspirations arrive during nature and garden walks with her family; in addition to Susan’s love of observing people’s enjoyment of receiving and wearing one of her pieces.

“Watching my daughter walk
through a patch of Johnny Jump-ups
inspired the copper brooch series.”

As an adult, Susan’s passion for her craft has led her to developing and teaching classes. Her degree, Bachelor of Arts, Communications allows Susan to be a fun and effective instructor.  In addition, Susan continues to develop her craft as a student of the Graduate Master Jeweler's Program at Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, San Francisco.

Little Relics started as a hobby on a TV tray in Susan's living room, sprouted into a serious hobby that travelled to Art and Craft Festivals and then being discovered by art curator and owner of one of the most prestigeous art galleries in Sacramento.  A month later Susan moved from hobby artist to studio artist with many galleries and boutiques selling her jewelry and accessories.  Then, Little Relics bloomed into a full fledge business that produced a major portion of art galleries' sales and with a nudge and giant push Little Relics is now its own storefront located within Susan's hometown of Midtown Sacramento.

Little Relics Boutique & Galleria is the premiere storefront that features Susan's Fine Jewelry and Local Art.  Many artists are local celebraties as well as some on a national level.  Susan's enthusiasm to assist emerging artists as well as veteran artists has cultivated a friendly and successful business.

Each month has a rotating fine art exhibit as well as many events to show case talented artists and new jewelry lines.

Look for Susan to be licensed, board certified and bonded as a Master Bench Jeweler & Repair Technician.
